After months of painstaking conceptualizing. After weeks of mental preparation. After hours agonizing over the palette. Finally, the speed painting that is my new blog header is complete. Enjoy.

A greyhound for a friend.

Contrary to the promise of sketches flowing forth as a result of a new cintiq I got lazy...and busy witha new job. After being verbally abused by a good friend (you know who you are), I got stage fright and couldn't grow balls to post anything. HOWEVER, after seeing some recent Street Fighter drawings by a couple good buddies I decided to do a version of Blanka...and then over work him in Photoshop. Mission accomplished.

Got a new Cintiq workstation at home and a couple weeks off between gigs; some sketching will be done.

I've had these sketches sitting on top of my scanner for weeks. So, now that they've cured for a bit, here they are: coffee shop sketches.

This is a second version of the dead bunny illustration. The scenario behind the bunny's death is more evident, however, the way I've dealt with the headdress feels a bit busy and effects the silhouette. um...so there.
